US NEWS: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will step up its security measures at U.S airports and overseas airports serving U.S destinations.

According to U.S. officials, Al-Qaida wants to surgically implant explosive devices in suicide bombers abdomens, buttocks and breasts. TSA says the regular scanning equipment, including full-body scanners, does not penetrate the skin and would not be able to detect implanted devices.

Security had been heightened since the May 2 U. S. killing of Osama bin Laden.  The latest on the implanted ‘belly bomb’ devices have been linked to al-Qaida’s branch in Yemen.
