I’ve been saying it all week, these are not upsets. These Richmond Spiders can ball. In fact, this was a win they were supposed to get over 12th=seeded Morehead State, which had pulled off a major upset against Louisville. The Spiders contolled the tempo and the game throughout and went on to post a 65 – 48 victory. Richmond now gets to face the winner of the Kansas-Illinois game next Thursday in San Antonio. Justin Harper had 19 points to lead UR, which won it’s 29th game this season and returns to the Sweet 16 for the first time in 23 years. Congratulations to Coach Chris Mooney and his team.
