Michael Vick’s illustrious comeback continues. The Philadelphia Eagles star landed a two-year endorsement deal with Unequal Technologies, a producer of the protective pads worn in football games. The deal will be his first major endorsement since being released from federal prison for participating in a dog fighting ring.Vick served 18 months behind bars, but is poised to make one of the best comebacks of all time.

“We’re real excited about it,” the company’s chief executive officer Rob Vito said. “Michael is good people. He paid his dues. President Obama reached out to him. He deserves an opportunity. This is what makes America so great.”

Vick, who made $5.2 million this past season with the Eagles, is set for a new contract which could make him one of the highest paid quarterback’s in the league.
