DMV – Customer-service centers closed today and Monday.
Richmond Area COUNTY, CITY OFFICES – Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent and Powhatan closed today and Monday. Richmond closed Monday.
COLLEGES – Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia State University, Virginia Union University, J. Sargeant Reynolds and John Tyler community colleges closed Monday. The University of Richmond and Randolph-Macon open.
SCHOOLS – Goochland closed today for teacher workday. Richmond, Charles City, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent and Powhatan open today. All schools closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday.
COURTS – Most courts closed today, but there are exceptions – contact the court. All courts closed Monday.
LIBRARIES – Hanover closed today and will reopen Tuesday. Goochland closed today and will reopen Wednesday. Chesterfield, Henrico and Powhatan closed today and Monday. Richmond and Heritage Public Library (serving Charles City and New Kent) closed Monday.
TRASH – Richmond and Henrico on regular schedule today, but no pickups Monday. Collections a day late for rest of the week, beginning Tuesday. Central Virginia Waste Management Authority collections on regular schedule today and Monday. Most landfills and transfer stations open today and Monday, but there are exceptions.
