The year 2011 is HERE whether we are ready or not (it came quick!). Although January 1st has come and gone, how are you preparing to concur the new year? Many set New Year’s Resolutions, but that, my friend, is old news! Many resolutions are set and then forgotten about within two months of the new year; why not create something that will help you focus and actually implement your goals for year 2011? Vision boards are awesome ways to do this, as well as fun and inexpensive!
Here are the details:
What is a vision board? A vision board is a collage of pictures and sayings related to goals and wants a person may have. This can be made to focus on these things so that you may attract and achieve all your goals. It can be made monthly, quarterly, yearly, for a special occasion, etc.
How do you make a vision board? Making a vision board is easy. The supplies are as follows:
- Poster board
- Old magazines
- Markers, glitter, anything decorative
- Scissors and glue
Once you have gathered all of these things, go through your magazines for pictures and words that correspond to the goals and wants that you have for the year. Paste them to the board and voila! Your vision board has been made!
After I make my vision board, what’s next? Hang your vision board somewhere that you will see it every day. The more you are in contact with it, the more you will think of the things to put on your board. Remember, like attracts like and what we think of and “see” often manifests! Review your vision board at the end of the year and see how much you have accomplished!
