R G B & Mitch Malone

R G B & Mitch Malone

Ray, Goodman, & Brown set the R & B music world on fire in the 70′s & 80′s with some the most memorable love songs of all time.  Richmond, Virginia was indeed a main stop on any RGB concert tours as their loyal fans would show up at the Coliseum, The Landmark, or any venue this threesome would appear.  Having hosted several of their shows, this week’s passing of Al Goodman (pictured left), leader of the group since their days as The Moments, reminded me of their polished and powerful performances.  Harry Ray, the smooth tenor voice passed in 1992, leaving Billy Brown (pictured next to me) as the sole survivor of the original Moments.  Here’s a great moment in Richmond at the KISS studios with me & the guys.
