Singer/Actress Whitney Houston Denies Rumors of Being ‘Broke’

Whitney Houston’s spokesperson has denied that she has spent a reported $100 million and is asking friends for money.

Reports emerged Tuesday that Houston is “broke” and has been begging friends for money. A source told a gossip site that Whitney has been living off of money given to her by industry friends and a $100 million advancement on her album from Arista records.

Singer Cee Lo Joins Whitney Houston for Remake of the film “Sparkle”

Singer Cee Lo Green will make his big screen acting debut in a planned remake of the movie/musical “Sparkle”, alongside singers Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks.

The original 1976 film, about three Harlem-based sisters who form a group in the late 1950s, is set for a revamp with Sparks as the title character and Houston in a starring role – her first acting job in more than 15 years.
