Music explains after releasing six albums, “I think I want to take a step back a little bit as an artist.”

In fact, Music has already started working with artists like Chrisette Michele and rapper Bow Wow.

“I’m not going to stop performing or being an artist. I do enjoy singing and all of that, but it takes away from being creative. At least with being a writer-producer you can constantly create and make music and things like that,” Music revealed.

Music is also in the process of writing a book about love, relationships and music.

Even though she played the role of runaway bride in the video, her dress and makeup were still tactful, and it was shocking but inspiring to see her run away in the middle of her ceremony to avoid missing out on her true love.

2.) Jill Scott & Anthony Hamilton, “So In Love” Though these two aren’t the ones getting married in the video, we do get to see an older couple renewing their vows at the 2:30 mark – how romantic! Plus, seeing Jill and Anthony meet at the ceremony and lightly flirt before dancing made it fun.

3.) Jagged Edge, “Let’s Get Married” Back in 2000, what was cuter than these four men singing about getting married once and for all?! They made the concept of marriage uplifting and made the after-party look “popping.com” as Tamar Braxton would say.

4.) Bow Wow & Chris Brown “Ain’t Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” Bow Wow surprised us all in this video. Dressed in a tuxedo, we see him trying to forget his runaway bride. But, Bow Wow, we know you aren’t ready to be married nor have you ever been engaged.

5.) UGK & Outkast, “International Players Anthem” This vid cuts pretty close to Beyonce’s. It starts with Andre 3000 telling his boys that he’s happy to get married and is confident in his decision, how sweet! He waits for his bride to meet him at the alter, and the reception party completes the rest of the country wedding fantasy.

6.) Musiq, “Don’t Change” This video told the slow and sweet story of an old couple renewing their vows. It may not be as glamorous as Bey’s,  but it’s a tear-jerker. The wedding scene could have been a little longer, though. Don’t you wish you could’ve seen the reception?

7.) Monica, “Love All Over Me” In this clip, Monica pines over an old love before tying the note with her new man. It was enticing to see the emotions she had to go thorough before choosing between Shannon Brown (her now real-life husband) and rapper Maino, who plays her ex. I wish we’d seen her wedding dress a little longer, it was chic and simple.

Thousands gathered in Philadelphia on Saturday to pay their respects to the late, great Teddy Pendergrass.

Soul singer Teddy Pendergrass’ funeral Saturday was the kind of soaring ceremony that punctuates the end of a larger-than-large life.

A 200-member gospel choir jubilated with high-decibel exhultation, while a band and a sternum-vibrating organ roused the estimated 4,000 people who filled mammoth Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church on Cheltenham Avenue, the biggest African American church in Philadelphia.

In turn, singers Melba Moore, Tyrese Gibson, Bunny Sigler, Gerald Austin, Lyfe Jennings, and Musiq performed songs by Pendergrass, a brawny, seductive baritone who leavened an incandescent sexuality with just enough sensitivity to stir arenas full of women and heat any room in which his music played.

Soul Legend Teddy Pendergrass Dead At 59

“He sounded like hot fudge on cherry vanilla ice cream with all the toppings,” remembered friend and neighbor Dyana Williams, a personality on WRNB-FM (107.9), in an interview last week. “He was delicious, an auditory and visual pleasure – the love man.”

Pendergrass, 59, raised in North Philadelphia and a member of Enon, died Jan. 13 of a protracted illness that followed a diagnosis of colon cancer last year.
