The highlight of the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is the NFL Choir. Featuring current and former players, the choir has become one of the most anticipated performances during Super Bowl Weekend.

Singer/Actress Fantasia Barrino Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Singer/Actress Fantasia Barrino, the winner of ‘American Idol’ season 3, who has gone on to star on Broadway, and sell millions of albums, has given birth to a baby boy, Dallas Xavier Barrino.

Baby Dallas arrived on Tuesday in Charlotte, NC., weighing-in at 7lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long. He joins big sister Zion, 10, from a previous relationship.

“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy… ” Barrino, 27, said.

Reportedly, the estate for Mahalia Jackson is not feeling Fantasia Barrino playing the role of the late gospel singer in a biopic due out in the fall of 2012, because she is having a child out of wedlock for the second time.

“The family thinks if Fantasia plays the role, it’s going to sully the name of Mahalia. They think she’s got the wrong image.

Singer Fantasia’s Baby Shower this Past Weekend, Complete with Married Boyfriend Antwaun

Singer/Actress Fantasia Barrino celebrated her bouncing-baby-on-the-way over the weekend with a baby shower in North Carolina. The baby’s daddy Antwaun Cook was on hand to celebrate as well. And despite reports the shower was held on the same date of Antwaun’s wedding anniversary with his wife, Paula, he has yet to divorce.

Fantasia and Cook had their friends and family in full force, 100 guests to be exact.

Doctors Order R&B Singer Fantasia to Cancel Concerts, Stay In Bed

Doctor’s Orders! Fantasia has officially been put on bed rest. Which means she has to cancel all of her scheduled concerts until her baby is born.

Fantasia was scheduled to perform at the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show this Saturday night in Atlanta. The company posted a Facebook message early Thursday morning that explained Fantasia was being replaced by R&B Singer Kelly Price… “thanks to doctor’s orders.”

U.S. Bank Files Lawsuit Against R&B Singer Fantasia

According to legal papers, filed last month, Fantasia Barrino — who announced last week that she is expecting her second child — is being sued by a collection company on behalf of U.S. Bank for allegedly owing them money.

The lawsuit is asking for $25,057.02 plus 10% interest per year dating back to May 2009.

Fantasia is no stranger to money troubles — she nearly lost her home to foreclosure in January 2009.
