Actor Terrence Howard’s Wife Accuses Him of Repeated Abuse, Receives Restraining Order

Actor Terrence Howard was ordered Tuesday to stay 100 yards away from his estranged wife after she claimed he repeatedly threatened and hit her during their marriage.

According to Michelle Howard, her husband Terrence, 42, has repeatedly hit her and even threatened her in a text message last week. In her sworn affidavit, she stated that she is in constant fear of Terrence, and his behavior has caused her to have chronic health issues.

Terrence Howard denies the allegations.

That reality popped in my head yesterday when I was reading about a recent proclamation from President Obama about October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

I read a report that the stepdaughter of former New York Governor David Paterson was arrested after beating her boyfriend unconscious. Allegedly, she hit her boyfriend with a frying pan and broke a bottle over his head during an argument.

As if we haven’t heard enough domestic violence stories this weekend, another WTF moment comes out of nowhere. Thirty-two year old Lucinda Kinder of Coralville was arrested after police responded to a 911 call/hangup. When police arrived at the scene, they found that Lucinda the victim (male) had been arguing. According to police reports, Lucinda punched and scratched the victim, and then proceeded to bite his penis. YIKES!
