Antoinette Essa was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. She is now a citizen of The United States and a Richmonder for 20 years.  Antoinette began her radio career at W.A.N.T., the first Black Radio Station in Richmond.  She also worked for WKIE, WRBN, WSMJ Smooth Jazz, WGGM-WZEZ, Power 93 now I-Power 92.1 and can be heard on 99.3 & 105.7 KISS fm on Saturdays. Antoinette’s Television work includes WWBT, NBC12 and is now a Contributing Correspondent for WTVR CBS 6. She is also the host of “Comcast Local Edition” seen on Comcast Cable channel 26 in the Richmond area.  Antoinette incorporates listeners participation on their weekend activities, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions or any other special celebrations.
