The candidate they didn’t like was the front-runner.  The candidate they did  like was  labeled as “unelectable”.  And the candidate they wanted to rescue the party has more baggage than your local airport.  The only theme all the candidates seem to agree on is their hatred of the President.  On every issue.  The undercard fight  is so interesting, that by the time the GOP candidates are done beating up on each other, they may be too punch-drunk to face the champ, who of course, currently sits in the White House.   The mission is simply to get the President out of office.  At the end of the day, the man Iowa voters thought had the best chance to accomplish that was former Massachutsetts Governor Mitt Romney, who beat out Rick Santorum by a mere 8 votes.  Ron Paul was third and Newt Gingrich came in fourth in the Iowa Caucuses.  Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann  announced she’s getting out of the race after a  poor showing in her home state of Iowa, while Texas Governor Rick Perry got out, then jumped back into the field this morning.
