The news Pro basketball fans have been waiting for finally arrived on Friday as NBA qwners and players have reached a deal that will end the lockout and not only put the players back on the court, but provide jobs for all of the residual businesses affected by the NBA labor dispute.   Commissioner David Stern and Players Rep Billy Hunter made the announcement on Friday evening and noted that the 2011 season will get underway on Christmas Day with the Boston Celtics playing in New York against the Knicks.  Winners and losers in this lockout that lasted nearly five months?  Actually, the owners got pretty much everything they wanted, while the players will still be paid handsomely, despite their efforts to get even more money.
