If you are at a point in your relationship where you are checking your spouses phone when something has transpired be smart with the next decision you make. To approach the female can sometimes be a tragic situation. She could create untruths just to spite you or you could get cursed out. So to eliminate all dramas, go straight to the owner of the phone (your spouse), and leave all third parties our of your relationship insecurities. However, you still might get cursed out, LoL.

Fond Memories Of Ray, Goodman, & Brown

Ray, Goodman, & Brown set the R & B music world on fire in the 70’s & 80’s with some the most memorable love songs of all time. Richmond, Virginia was indeed a main stop on any RGB concert tours as their loyal fans would show up at the Coliseum, The Landmark, or any venue this threesome would appear. Having hosted several of their shows, this week’s passing of Al Goodman (pictured left), leader of the group since their days as The Moments, reminded me of their polished and powerful performances. Harry Ray, the smooth tenor voice passed in 1992, leaving Billy Brown (pictured next to me) as the sole survivor of the original Moments. Here’s a great moment in Richmond at the KISS studios with me & the guys.

GRTC’S Bus Fare Will Not Go Up For Now

The GRTC bus fare increase set to go into effect on August 1st has been postponed for now. CEO John Lewis told Richmond City Council that he has seen an increase in bus ridership which makes up for low ride cost rates. The 25 cents bus fare increase may come by late September. Richmond Denny’s Employee Spikes Coffee With Bleach

An Employee at Denny’s located in the 5300 Block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Spotsylvania is behind bars for allegedly spiking coffee and soda. A waitress and waiter sipping on a cup of coffee and soda smelled bleach in their drinks. The pair immediately contacted the store manager. Police were called and the cook, 29 year old Jermaine Johnson of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with two counts of altering a drink with the intent to harm. Police are trying to figure out a motive for the attack. Johnson told police he meant to do it. The two employees who ingested the bad drinks weren’t seriously injured

Governor Bob McDonnell has announced the dates for Virginia’s tax free holiday, August 6th through August 8th. The 5 percent sales tax will not be imposed on school supplies that are 20 dollars or less and clothing and footwear 100 dollars or less. When is it your time to speak up as the wife (husband) or new girlfriend (boyfriend) concerning the kids? Well after some quick research I found out that Roxanne Shante, sued Warner Music and used the money from the law suit to fund her education. She is now Dr. Roxanne gaining her Masters and Phd in psychology from Cornell University. Dana Dane is still rocking the radio air waves with an old school syndicated hip hop show. And last but not least, Kool Moe Dee is still in the entertainment industry with a hip hop talk show, acting and still writing and putting out music. 80’s definitely is the greatest!

The City of Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will extend (8) of the department’s outdoor public pool operations due to extreme heat conditions this weekend. The pools are opened from 12pm-8pm this Saturday and Sunday. Normal pool hours will resume on Monday.
