As the opening statements begin in the of Michael Dunn’s murder trial, Asst. State Attorney John Guy painted the images of four teenagers stopping at a Florida gas station for gum and cigarettes when Michael Dunn pulls up and complains about their loud “thug music.”
A verbal argument ensued resulting in Dunn shooting into the teens car hitting 17-yr old Jordan three times and killing him.
Michael Dunn is claiming the “stand your ground” law insisting that he was threatened by Davis with a weapon.

Michael Dunn, one day after the shooting, remained adamant that he was standing his ground to defend himself when he fired his gun into a car killing Jordan Davis. Dunn left the scene after the shooting and never called the police.
