The 8th annual “It’s in the Bag” Fundraiser is Thursday, February 6, 6 – 9pm at The Willow Oaks Country Club, 6228 Forest Hill Avenue, Richmond, It’s a chance to bid on one of a kind, unique and some very fashionable handbags while supporting LINC’s mission of serving cancer patients, cancer survivors and their families.  More than 200 bags and specialty items are up for auction. Tickets are $35 on-line. LINC, a non-profit organization, provides information, education and referral services for legal, financial and community resources individuals dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Some of the area’s best local Chocolatiers, Bakeries and specialty shops will give Richmnders an opportunity to sample dozens of chocolates and desserts at the 9th annual CHOCOHOLIC!, a fundraiser for Family Lifeline. The Charity event is once again at the Science Museum of Virginia, Thursday, February 6th, from 7 – 10pm, tickets are $50. The evening features, wine and beer tastings, food provided by Mosaic, a silent auction and you can sample all the chocolate treats and desserts you can eat. Proceeds from CHOCOHOLIC will benefit Family Lifeline, a non-profit organization that provides families with the tools and resources needed to create a better future for themselves and their community. Open Call Sunday, February 9th, from 1 – 4pm for AMC Television Series, “TURN”, currently filming in Richmond and is searching for men between the ages of 18 & 40, who are thin to average build to play background performers, and long hair is a plus but not a must.
