How Bout Them…..Giants? FINALLY, the New York Giants win an NFL regular season game in 2013, a feat some were wondering if, not when it would happen. The G-Men took on Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night and seemed virtually unstoppable in the 2nd half en route to a 23 – 7 blowout victory, their first win. Ironically, Eli Manning gets Win No. 1 the night after Peyton gets Loss No. 1.

Peterson, obviously not himself in the aftermath of his son’s death, was held to a disappointing 28 yards rushing in the loss which drops Minnesota to 1 – 5. Meanwhile, the Giants are 1 – 6. The Vikings also started newly acquired Josh Freeman, who threw 53 passes in his debut, which wasn’t spectacular. New York’s victory leaves Tampa Bay and Jacksonville as the NFL’s two remaining winless teams going into Week 8. The G-Men have Philly and Oakland coming up, which could be encouraging.
