Members of the Richmond School Board during Monday night’s meeting discussed ways to raise up the city system’s struggling academic performance.  Interim Superintendent Jonathan Lewis last night presented a plan to turn the tide. The city has dropped into the lower echelon of school districts across the state over the past three years. Three years ago under Dr. Yvonne Brandon’s tenure, the city reached full accreditation of all schools but this year, only 13 of 44 schools were fully accredited.
