Week 3 of the 2013 NFL season begins tonight in Philadelphia, where an interesting homecoming is taking place. Andy Reid, who stepped down earlier this year as Head Coach of the Eagles, brings his new team, the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs to the city of Brotherly Love. Philly is now coached by Chip Kelly, the Eagles are 1 – 1 going into tonight’s game, while KC is fresh off a home win over Dallas on Sunday, so both teams will be going hard tonight.

Several interesting matchups on Sunday,  for the Washington Washington Football Team, just two games into the new season and already the team is in a “Must-Win” situation, if there are any hopes for postseason play. Detroit rolls into the Nation’s Capital with All-Pro wideout Calvin Johnson still looking for a breakout game, and with the Washington Football Team secondary by far the worst in the league, that could be Sunday. Still not certain if RB Reggie Bush will play, but we do know that Washington Football Team QB Robert Griffin III has vowed to run more if that’s what it will take for Washington to get a win.

Other great matchups this weekend include the defending world champion Baltimore Ravens hosting the Houston Texans, the Packers, fresh off their blowout win over Washington, now roll into Cincinnati to battle the unbeaten Bengals. For those who love some hard-hitting smashmouth football, expect that type of game Sunday in Pittsburgh when the Chicago Bears come in to play the winless Steelers. In Dallas, the Cowboys can’t afford another stumble against the St. Louis Rams, especially after the unexpected loss to Kansas City.
