The FBI rescued over 100 teens involved with sex trafficking and exploitation this weekend in coordinated raids across 70 cities this weekend.

These raids resulted in the arrest of 150 “pimps” that were involved in the exploitation of adults and children, according to Ronald Hosko, who serves as the assistant director of FBI’s criminal investigation division.

The youngest child rescued was only 13 years old, according to the agency.

This is the largest action to date that the FBI has taken against the sexual exploitation of children.

Authorities have confirmed that criminal charges against the 150 will include human trafficking.

It’s estimated that about 240,000 children in the U.S. are at risk for sexual exploitation.
