A Memorial erected near the site of Master Trooper Junius A. Walker’s death is going to be removed from Interstate 85. The Walker Family and Virginia State Police would like to thank everyone for their support after their tragic loss. Virginia State Police wrote “As we continue to mourn the loss of Master Trooper Junius A. Walker, the Virgina State Police, with the blessing of the family have relocated the meaningful tributes from Interstate 85 to the Walker’s residence. They removed the memorial for safety reasons.
