From MediaKraze – In 1990, R&B male group, Hi-Five entered the music scene as part of Teddy Riley’s new jack swing movement with their debut album Hi-Five. The platinum selling album produced such hits as “I Just Can’t Handle It”, “I Can’t Wait Another Minute”, and their biggest hit to date, “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)“.

They followed up with three more albums under the JIVE record label, one being a Greatest Hit’s album.

There was also a fifth Hi-Five album released by lead singer Tony Thompson and four new group members on his own N’Depth Ent record label after the original members of Hi-Five had disbanded.

Unfortunately, Thompson died in 2007 and five years later, previous members Marcus “Mac” Sanders, Treston Irby and Shannon Gill decided to add two new members (Faruq Evans and Dre Wonda) to reform Hi-Five.

“Favorite Girl” is their first single since being back together on the BMW (Bronx Most Wanted) label created by group member Treston Irby.

From the sounds of this single, Hi-Five is back and they are here to stay! Let us know in the comment section below if you agree!
