Despite his setbacks and the long road he’s traveled to regain his form on the golf course and his stature in the game, Tiger Woods won this week’s Farmer’s Insurance Open in San Diego, the 75th PGA tour win of his career, leaving him just 7 wins shy of the all-time PGA record held by golfing legend Sam Sneed. Tiger won at the Torrey Pines course, where he’s won seven times before, so this is undoubtedly Woods’ favorite course on the tour.

Woods also feels somewhat redeemed after missing the cut for last week’s tournament, which is a rare occurence. In fact, Tiger practically ran away with the tournament, stirring memories of a younger Eldrick. All of the drama was for the second-place finish in the tournament because Tiger had long put that horse in the barm!
