Virginia has an election every year which means the peoples’ voice should be heard on issues of healthcare, education, civil rights, justice, jobs and medicare. Every aspect of your life is decided on at the “stroke of a vote”. And, all politics are local.

Register to vote, check your voter status or poll location, by visiting the State Board of Elections website at www.sbe.virginia.gov.

If you were convicted of a felony and would like to start the process of getting your rights restored get information here.  Please obtain copies of your sentencing orders and proof that you have paid all fines and restitution -then start the process.  For more information,  visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website at www.commonwealth.virginia.gov
