President Barack Obama is seeking a second-term as president and the music industry is assisting in that effort. The Obama for America campaign reports that music entertainment power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce hosted a fundraiser reception in Manhattan Tuesday night. Tickets for the event, the second of two Tuesday fundraisers, were priced at $40,000 each. OFA said 100 people attended the reception held at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club. The amount raised at the Jay and Bey reception was $4 million.
