For many years, we have all heard how BIG they do things in Texas. Well, now we have evidence in the form of the new Allen High School football stadium in Allen, Texas, which cost in the neighborhood of $60 million. It’s no secret that high school football is huge in Texas, but this is incredible that a high school team could attract a fan base large enough to fill a 20,000 seat stadium every Friday night.

The stadium is complete with a three-tier press box, a giant video screen monitor, state of the art scoreboard, weight rooms, and the field is of course, turfgrass. This is the fifth high school stadium in Texas to exceed capacity of 16,000, with ticket prices at Allen HS around $40 per game. The average ticket price for a high school game in Virginia is around $8 – $10. There’s no doubt, they love their high school football in the state of Texas.
