Richmond native Andre Todd “Champ” Hobson, 19, will report to basic training for the U.S. Army on Monday, July 31, 2012. Andre said during our interview just days before heading to the army “I love this country and it’s one of the greatest country’s on the face of the planet.”

Hobson has penned the lyrics for The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation’s Black Youth Vote (BYV!) iThink 2012 campaign. “Vote 4 Justice” is “an inspirational, powerful and the wording comes from God alone said Hobson.”

“Vote 4 Justice” is a plea to young adults to get out an exercise their right to vote. The vote affects every aspect of your life. Hobson wants us to head out to the polls on November 6, 2012 while he protects and serves our country.
