Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed the NAACP convention in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, getting a pretty lukewarm welcome from the African-American dominated audience during the beginning of his speech, but found himself being booed when speaking of his intentions to repeal the President’s health care plan. Again, Romney insisted the law needs to go, but would not offer any alternative with substance, only mentioning that he would give America “something” to replace it.

Romney changed his normal speech delivery and tone for the NAACP event. Instead of his usual rant against the President and all of the failures of his administration, the GOP nominee instead talked about a range of topics, but again, there was no real meat on the bone as he continues to talk around the issues, never saying concretely what his specific plans are in those areas.
