No one would have thought a few years ago that the Jacksons would embark upon a concert tour without the most famous Jackson of all, the late, great King of Pop, Michael Jackson.   His death was certainly untimely and unexpected, but the Jackson brothers, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito, are all set to hit the road later this month.

This is one of America’s greatest musical families, which also included sister Janet, a pop superstar in her own rite, and even Latoya and Rebbie havwe had their moments in the music biz.   The Jacksons tour should do well if for no other reason than fans will want to pay tribute to Michael by attending and supporting his brothers and the Jackson legacy.

The tour will kick off in Canada on July 29th, and will wind it’s way around the US making stops at such legendary venues as the Apollo Theatre in New York.   After being out of the spotlight so long, one wonders if they can still pull it off, but after hearing Jermaine’s melodic voice at Michael’s memorial service, I have to agree with Marlon’s assessment, “It’s just like riding a bike, you never forget how”.
