Now that the man who murdered her family has been tried and convicted, singer/actress Jennifer Hudson can look forward to her pending nuptials with fiancé wrestler David Otunga. Hudson and Otunga tell People that they are “very excited” for the wedding.
“That was something that was hanging over our heads for so long, and now we feel like we can finally breathe a sigh of relief,” Otunga says. “Everything is good now.”
Otunga says watching Hudson take care of their 2-year-old son David Jr., who will be participating in their wedding ceremony, has made him love her even more. “I’m blessed to have such a wonderful woman in my life who cares for our child so lovingly,” he adds.
The date is still a heavily guarded secret, but Hudson has said her dress will be a three-piece design she created herself that will reveal itself in layers as she walks down the aisle.
“It’s a show. It has three pieces to it. I designed it myself,” Hodson told Dateline in January. “It has a coat for the entrance and then when I get ready to walk, you take that part off. And then it’s another dress. And then by the time I get to the alter, it’s a whole new dress.”
