Today, Jazz legend Kenny G. celebrates his 55th birthday, and R & B crooner Brian McKnight turned 42 on this Tuesday, June 5th. On Wednesday, June 6th, former tennis superstar Bjorn Borg was 55 years old.
Hampton native and former NBA star Allen Iverson turned 36 on, Thursday, June 7th, a birthday also shared by his “Royal Badness”, Prince, as the pop music superstar celebrated his 53rd this week. Also born Thursday was tennis star Anna Kournikova, who was known more for her glamour than her tennis play. Anna’s 30 years old.
Today, Friday, June 8th, we say Happy Birthday to Actor/Director Keenan Ivory wayans, who turns 53, Hip-Hop music star Kanye West is 34, and veteran musician Boz Skaggs (“Dirty Lowdown”) celebrates his 67th birthday this evening. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 9th, ESPN basketball analyst Dick Vitale turns 72, and actor Michael J. Fox will hit the Big 5-0.
