President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed the 43rd President George W. Bush and Laura Bush to the White House for their official portrait unveiling. George Bush open his speech with “thanks for welcoming my rowdy friends to the White House for my hanging.” Bush thanked President Obama for feeding all 14 of his family members. Former president George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush were in attendance.

The White House Historical Association was founded 50 years ago by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to educate and inform the public about the history of the White House. And, the wonder people who inhabited the White House.

President Bush said after the unveiling to President Obama when you have to make tough decisions just reflect on my portrait and say “what would George do”

Bush Spokesman Freddy Ford said “The Bushes are looking forward to being back in Washington and seeing some of their friends. They appreciate the Obamas’ hospitality in hosting the portrait hanging.”

President George W. Bush last visited the White House in January 2012 ,along with, former President Bill Clinton to join forces with President Obama on Haiti relief efforts.
