Tragedy continues to strike the cast of the 90s sitcom, Moesha. Actor Merlin Santana was murdered and actor Lamont Bentley died a fatal car accident. Singer/Actress Brandy was also involved in a fatal car crash years back.
Now, Yvette Wilson, known for her role Andell Wilkerson on “Moesha” and spin-off “The Parkers” starring comedianne/actress Mo’Nique, is suffering from cancer and is reportedly having trouble paying for her medical treatment.
Wilson has appeared in many comedy films such as “House Party 2”, “House Party 3”, “Friday”, and on Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam. Wilson has experienced kidney failure, kidney transplants and cervical cancer, among other things. Her cancer has come back after an extended and according to sources, doctors say it’s extremely aggressive this time.
Reports state Wilson is suffering from Stage 4 cervical cancer and kidney failure, which requires a transplant, and is in need of money to pay her medical expenses.
