The NBA Playoffs are off to an exciting start.   The Chicago Bulls may have lost their mojo when All-Star guard Derrick Rose went down.   The road to the Finals is much tougher  after Philly took Game 3 last night and now leads the Bulls 2-1 with Game 4 Sunday in Philadelphia.  Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics, all but written off, have taken a 2-1 lead over the Atlanta Hawks in their series which continues on Sunday in BeanTown.

This is supposed to be the year that LaBron, Dwayne, and Tim put their Championship plan in motion in Miami, and so far, it’s an effective one, or is it that the Heat are playing a depleted New York team with no Amare Stoudamire.  Either way, Miami’s rollin’ and the Knicks are on the brink of elimination this weekend with the Heat up 3-zip in their series.

Oklahoma City was looking for at least one win in Texas after beating the Dallas Mavericks twice at the buzzer on their home floor.  No rain but a lot of  Thunder in Game 3  Thursday night in Big D as OKC routed the Mavericks to seal a 3-zip lead going into Game 4 this afternoon.   The Los Angeles Lakers were getting strong inside play against the Denver Nuggets, who rebounded last night to win Game 3 in the Mile High City.   The Lakers hold a 2-1 advantage with Game 4 coming up Sunday at Denver.

Tony Parker & Tim Duncan continue to dazzle as San Antonio now holds a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference series with the Utah Jazz.   That series now shifts to Salt Lake City for Game 3 this afternoon..   The Indiana Pacers went into Orlando and crushed the Magic, who are still playing without their superstar Dwight Howard.   The Pacers now lead the series 2-1.   Memphis has recovered from blowing a 27-point lead to the Clippers in Game 1 of their series, and the Grizzlies won Game 2 last night to tie the series at 2 apiece heading to Los Angeles for Game 3 this evening..
