The NBA Playoffs, just 4 months after the lockout, are off to an exciting start.  The Chicago Bulls, who came into the playoffs as the Eastern Conference team to beat with the best record and home court advantage throughout the playoff season, may have lost their mojo when All-Star guard Derrick Rose went down on Saturday.

The Bulls did get a victory over Philadelphia in Game 1 of their series, and  Chicago is capable of beating the Sixers without Rose, but the road to the Finals now becomes much more difficult after Philly took Game 2 in Chicago. Oklahoma City is looking for at least one win in Texas after beating the Dallas Mavericks twice at the buzzer on their home floor. The Mavs had their chances to win in both games., Game 3 is Thursday night in Big D.

The Los Angeles Lakers are getting much-needed strong inside play from Andrew Bynum against the Denver Nuggets. Kobe & Crew took it to the Nuggets again in Game 2, and now hold a 2-zip lead heading to the Mile High City for Game 4. Tony Parker & Tim Duncan continue to dazzle as San Antonio now holds a 2-0 lead following Wednesday night’s Game 2 victory over the Utah Jazz.

The Indiana Pacers went into Orlando and crushed the Magic, who are still playing without their superstar Dwight Howard.   The Pacers now lead the series 2-1.  Memphis is still shaking their heads after the Grizzlies held a 27-point lead in the 4th quarter and found themselves losing to the Clippers in Game 1 of their series, which resumed last night in Memphis.  The Grizzlies get the win to tie the series at 2 apiece heading to Los Angeles.
