Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley is expecting her first child less than a year after her twin sister, Tia Mowry, gave birth, People reports.
“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” Mowry-Housley told the magazine. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”
The baby is due in early November. “The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness — more like evening sickness,” Mowry-Housley said. “Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now — more like myself.”
Tamera Mowry and Housley, a correspondent for Fox News, married in May. Mowry-Housley is currently starring in the Fox pilot, Rebounding, and will return with her sister for Season 2 of Tia & Tamera this June.
When asked how her sister Tia responded to the news, Tamera said, “Her first reaction was, ‘I knew it!'”Mowry-Housley told People. “Tia is beyond thrilled. [Mowry’s son] Cree now has a play date in the future!”
The new season of Tia & Tamera premieres June 11 on the Style Network.
