Petersburg’s Mason, Huguenot’s Brown Honored At All-Metro Banquet In Short Pump

The 2012 All-Metro Banquet was held Monday evening at the Hilton-Short Pump, honoring both the Girls and Boys All-Metro Basketball teams. The annual event is sponsored by the Touchdown Club of Richmond. VCU Coach Shaka Smart was one of the featured speakers tonight as All-Metro Player of the Year Frank Mason of the Petersburg Crimson Wave was honored, as well as Daeisha Brown of the Huguenot Falcons, the Girls All-Metro Player of the Year.
