With the summer months upon us, we tend to take quick weekend jaunts to see our girlfriends that are spread out across the country. Here are some tips on how to travel safely when doing it solo from shine.com.
One of the first and foremost things you need to do is alert someone close to you that you’re about to leave town including the anticipated time of arrival and departure for your destinations.
The reason why? Telling someone you’re going away keeps everyone around you informed of your travels. Name what city, what hotel, what you plan on doing, who you plan on seeing, when you are supposed to be getting back, arrange check-in call times, whatever, just tell someone that you are embarking on a solo adventure.
