Supermodel Heidi Klum has filed for divorce from singer Seal, nearly 3 months after they announced their separation.
Heidi cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce petition, filed Friday afternoon in Los Angeles County Superior Court, reports say.
Klum, 38, is asking for joint legal custody of their 4 children but wants primary physical custody, with Seal, 49, getting visitation rights.
Reportedly, Seal and Heidi had signed a post-nup agreement to separate their assets, so no community property will have to be divided.
Klum, whose legal name is Heidi Samuel (Seal’s last name), asked the judge to restore her maiden name, which she has always used professionally.
Heidi Klum and Seal married in 2005 but filed for separation in late January 2012.
