Actor/DJ Nick Cannon is on the road to recovery after enduring kidney failure and two blood clots in his lungs, and he’s now sharing his health journey with fans online.

Launching Nick Cannon’s N’Credible Health Hustle on his website Monday, Cannon, will detail his health “setbacks and triumphs” in a weekly web series.

“Words can’t express how grateful and humbled I was by the outpouring of support when I fell ill a few months ago. I realized there was no way I could fully return all the love that was — and is still — shown, but it doesn’t mean I can’t give it a try,” Cannon takes viewers inside his hospital treatments and meetings with doctors in episode 1. Cannon explained in a statement. “[I’m] hoping this series serves as inspiration for anyone dealing with kidney disease, lupus or any illness to keep pushing as well,” reports Us Weekly.

Last month, Cannon announced he was leaving his daily radio show in an effort to recover from what he called a lupus-type autoimmune disease.

“I never thought anything could slow me down, but sometimes life throws you curve balls and you have to adjust,” Cannon said. “Having discovered the problem early on, I was able to undergo immediate and aggressive medical treatment and through the support of my loving family I’m now on a successful road to recovery.”
