The FBI has descended upon Sanford, Florida on Monday to launch their own full scale investigation into the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, and they returned on Tuesday. With tensions rising in Sanford and around the nation, it’s hard to miss the appearance that any previous investigations need to be investigated as well, which is one of the reasons it seems to be taking forever to arrive at the arrest of George Zimmerman.
There is wide speculation that when the FBI finishes shaking this Sanford Police Department tree, there’s no telling what’s gonna fall from it. Agents have been in Sanford interviewing potential witnesses in the case, as they seek to find out if Zimmerman’s actions were racially motivated. If so, Martin’s civil rights were indeed violated, and that’s where the Justice Department steps in.
Two independent audio experts have analyzed the tape in which screams are heard as a resident talks to the 911 operator, and both experts conclude that the screams are almost certainly not from alleged shooter George Zimmerman. There are also reports that the EMT service was apparently cancelled and Zimmerman may not have received any treatment at all for alleged injuries and a broken nose.
