RadarOnline.com reports that management at the Beverly Hilton has let go the staffers who talked to the press about singer Whitney Houston’s death.

Houston died at the famed hotel on February 11, just hours before Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy party.

The few staffers that gave interviews or spoke to media outlets were immediately reprimanded by the hotel and subsequently lost their jobs, Radar reports.

“The hotel employees that talked to the media were fired because they violated hotel policy,” says a source. “They weren’t high level employees, but the hotel didn’t want anyone to talk about Whitney’s tragic death.”

Houston’s funeral took place last Saturday in New Jersey, and her body was laid to rest during a private burial attended only by close friends and family.
