R&B diva Kelly Price is celebrating three Grammy nominations at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this weekend and of course, there’s plenty for her to be smiling about before the big ceremony. This year, however, she decided to bring smiles to the faces of fans and special guests with her “Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For the Love of R&B” pre-Grammy show and after party at Tru Hollywood where the musical movement of R&B continued with live performances from some of the industry’s biggest names such as Faith Evans, Whitney Houston and others.

Just before entering the show, we caught up with Kelly Price to discuss the honor of being nominated for Best R&B Song/Best R&B Performance for “Not My Daddy” with Stokley of Mint Condition and Best R&B Album (“Kelly”) plus how important her celebration will be for the R&B genre overall.
