Hollywood actress Paula Patton and her singer hubby Robin Thicke are facing a huge tax bill after failing to hand over more than $492,583 in taxes, according to the Detroit News.

On December 28, the IRS reportedly filed a tax lien with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds on the couple’s Santa Monica, Calif., estate.

In response, their representative said:

They were just made aware of the issue [on Friday] and it is being taken care of immediately.

Thirty-six-year-old Patton has had a string of box office hits, including “Mission Impossible — Ghost Protocol,” “Jumping the Broom,” and “Precious,” while husband Thicke is no stranger to fame with the chart-topping album “The Evolution of Robin Thicke” in 2007. The soul artist just released his latest album, “Love After War,” last month.

Patton and Thicke aren’t the only celebrities that have had tax problems.

Celebrity tax deadbeats in Hollywood are actually pretty common. Other celebrities in trouble with the IRS previously include actress Pamela Anderson, actor Wesley Snipes, actor Al Pacino, director Martin Scorsese, singer Marc Anthony, and actor Nicolas Cage. Wesley Snipes was even sentenced to three years in jail in 2010 for tax evasion.
