The heat is on for the Loudoun County Republican Committee by state leaders because of an e-mail sent that depicts President Obama as a zombie.  The website “Too Conservative” first reported the “Halloween 2011” e-mail, which distorted an Obama campaign poster to show part of the President’s skull missing and a bullet through his head.

Republican state leaders are speaking out on the condemning message, including Governor Bob McDonnell who called the e-mail “shameful and offensive.” However, the chairman of the Loudoun GOP issued a statement saying the message was a “light-hearted” attempt at satire on Halloween but apologized to anyone who viewed the image as intending to portray Obama as a victim of a violent crime.

Was this depiction of our nation’s president just a satire at Halloween or blatant disrespect for the commander-in-chief?
