Richmond City Council encourages Richmond families to attend one of four Richmond locations on Saturday, Aug. 13 to receive free school supplies for their children for the 2011-2012 Richmond Public Schools academic year.
At the event, sponsored by Northside Coalition for Children, school supplies will be distributed to students enrolled in Richmond Public Schools from Pre-K through 12th Grade.
Proof of residency will be required to receive free supplies.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at Clark Springs Elementary School, George Wythe High School, Henderson Middle School and Woodville Elementary School.
Supplies are limited, but volunteers and donations will be welcome.
