The US Senate race is “too close to call”, a “deadheat” or “neck and neck”.  The lastest poll conducted by Quinnipiac University shows that former governors Tim Kaine and George Allen are in a tight Senate Race for 2012. Tim Kaine is favored by Virginia voters at 43% while George Allen is favored by Virginia voters at 42%.

We are 17 months away from the election. Both candidates are getting strong support from their perspective parties. Kaine is supported by younger voters and African Americans while Allen is supported by older white voters. The poll shows that 1 in 10 voters remain undecided.
