R&B trio SWV is back in action this morning fresh off the release of their reunion single “Co-Sign.” Check out their live performance on this morning’s “Red Tails” Sky Show edition of the Tom Joyner Morning Show broadcasting from the Rialto Theater in Atlanta, GA. The sisters with voices still have it – vocals, looks and everything in between. Back together on stage, the women of SWV (Coko, LeLee & Taj) gave an exceptional performance of both their new single and the R&B classic “Weak.”

Congratulations to the ladies of SWV for their accomplishment mentioned on the air. We’re celebrating their new single “Co-Sign” as the most added song on Urban Adult Contemporary radio stations across the nation! Shout out to all of those who’ve requested it as we await the reunion project coming later this year.

This week’s edition of “Insider Her Story with nationally syndicated radio/TV personality Jacque Reid examines the pressing issues of minority women from all walks of life who mysteriously disappear never to be found again in our communities due to violence, crime and other opposing factors. Jacque Reid takes time to discuss the tragedies involved and the formation of TV One’s brand new featured programming “Find Our Missing” which debuts on the network on Wednesday, January 19th at 10PM EST.

In today’s conversation, Reid talks with the show’s executive producer Craig Henry about the seriousness of the cases involved in the groundbreaking effort to spotlight these missing cases. Listen to the conversation below to find out more about the show and the lasting impact this could have on our community as more and more Black women turn up missing throughout the country every single day. This is our chance to shed light on the situation and find a solution to these unresolved stories as they occur.

R&B music still lives on and the 90′s trio SWV just proved it once again with their smash reunion single “Co-Sign.” Seems like this one just appeared out of nowhere, but the ladies haven’t changed much at all. Although a little older, wiser and now stronger than ever, their voices are still superb in every way.

This new track brings back their signature flavor, their funky and streetwise swag, but most of all it stands the test of time just like the leading ladies of SWV used to do back in the day. So what ever happened to that reunion project anyway? Looks like the sisters’ fire hasn’t burnt out just yet. National TV and radio journalist Jacque Reid’s syndicated weekly news feature “Inside Her Story” examines the lives, loves and lessons learned by women in entertainment on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. This week, Reid spoke with Tameka Raymond, the ex-wife and former manager of R&B singer Usher and also the mother of his two children.

After a recent Twitter response ensued a very public debate on her potentially homophobic views, Raymond reacts to the negativity and describes what she really meant when she suggested that men on the down low or those living secretly homosexual lifestyles should be branded and exposed for who they really are. Her choice of revelatory methods? A simple sign that tells women – especially black women who they might really be dealing with underneath the street clothes, fancy cars and masculine swag.
